The leadership of Biafra Independence Movement of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, BIM-MASSOB, has said that nobody can stop agitation for Biafra.

The group further said yesterday that even the founder of MASSOB in 1999, Chief Raph Uwazuruike has no capacity to do so.

BIM-MASSOB was reacting to a statement credited to former governor of Anambra state and Ohanaze chieftain, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife.

But the Senior Special Assistant and Director of Media for BIM-MASSOB, Mazi Chris Mocha, in a statement issued yesterday in Awka, said, “Biafra is bigger than Chukwuemeka Ezeife or Uwazuruike who started the current agitation for new Biafra in 1999. The same Biafra is still unstoppable without achieving outright sovereignty.

He stated that Biafra would come to an end only if the United Nations recognize the sovereignty of Biafra.

Mocha assured that Uwazuruike came into the world to do one thing; “To actualize Biafra, if he fails, then he has not fulfilled his mission here on this planet Earth.”
